Premium Construction. Vortech’s 10-Rib Supercharger Pulley is CNC-machined from pure 6061 T-6 Billet Aluminum and finished in a black anodized coating to ensure long, reliable service life. Not only is billet aluminum incredibly sturdy, but the CNC-machining process makes for a precise final product that increases surface contact with all Vortech’s ribbed supercharger drive belts. 

Increase Supercharger Efficiency. One of the most effective means of improving the efficiency of your Vortech supercharger is to limit power-robbing belt slip, often the result of a drive belt that’s either too narrow or too worn to keep up with the demands of your application. Upgrading the drive belt system with a 10-rib pulley will help reduce belt slip, increasing the contact area between the belt and pulleys to reduce slippage and ensure that your Charger operates at maximum efficiency. 

Increase Or Reduce Boost Output. Changing the diameter of your Charger’s supercharger drive pulley is an effective means of increasing or decreasing boost production to dial in your ideal power level. However, being mechanically driven by a serpentine belt attached to the crankshaft, any alteration in the pulley size will also change the rate at which the supercharger impeller spins with RPM, making less or more boost depending on a decrease or increase in pulley size.
